1. The gear box of the dual-screw extruder should be well ventilated, and the working environment temperature should be within the range of 5-35 °C.
2. Always check the oil quantity of the gear lubricating oil in the box to ensure that the transmission parts in the box are well lubricated.
3. Pay attention to check the bearing parts of the box frequently. The oil temperature of the oil tank of the transmission box should not exceed 70 ℃ during operation.
4. The newly put into use gearbox needs to replace the lubricating oil after 250 hours of operation. The oil change time depends on the state of the oil. It is recommended to replace it after 4000-8000 hours of operation or once a year.
5. The gearbox of the dual-screw extruder needs to be regularly maintained and inspected once a year (recommended to be operated by a professional maintenance engineer from KY). The work content is as follows:
a. Remove the cover of the gearbox, and check the wear and meshing of the working surfaces of the transmission reduction gears. If there are burrs or shallow pits on the meshing surface, it can be smoothed with oilstone; gears with serious wear should be prepared to purchase accessories. for replacement during the next maintenance.
b. Check the wear of each bearing. Clean the bearing first, and check the inner jacket for cracks; observe the noise of idling and the radial clearance. If no problem is found, add some grease and continue to use it.
c. Check whether the lubricating oil in the box is clean. If the oil is mixed with impurities or metal powder, filter the lubricating oil to remove impurities, and then make up the amount of lubricating oil.
d. After cleaning and checking the parts in the box, install the box cover; add enough grease to each bearing part, replace the new oil seal, and fasten the bearing cover.
e. Clean the outside of the gear box to keep the equipment clean.
1. If there are deep wear pits on the involute meshing tooth surface of the gear, the noise is loud and irregular when working and rotating, and there is often shock and vibration, this gear should be replaced.
2. The inner sleeve or outer sleeve of the ball bearing has cracks, the ball frame is damaged, the radial clearance of the inner sleeve is large, and the rotating outer sleeve bearing has a large rotating noise. After the rolling bearing is cleaned, if one of the above-mentioned damages is found, the rolling bearing should be replaced.
1. Before installation, gears and bearings should be cleaned and trimmed to remove burrs.
2. Check the size of the replacement gear hole, assembly shaft, key and keyway, which should meet the matching tolerance requirements specified in the drawing, and the replaced rolling bearing should be the same as the original bearing model.
